A Flag Committee was set up by Indian National Congress in 1931 which recommended that the Bharatiya(Indian) national flag should be saffron with a blue coloured Charkha. The members of the Committee included Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and Jawahar Lal Nehru. We are sharing the full report of the Committee here.
